Simply brilliant. A big investment, perhaps, but definitely worth it

Expensive

Bamboo Fun is an A6-wide version of the Wacom Bamboo tablet and pen. It's been slightly remodelled in the Fun version (it now has rounded corners), but the pressure pad and pen are just as sensitive. It's available in four colours and comes bundled with ArtRage 2 and Photoshop Elements 4.0.

Wacom is hoping home users will spend £65 on a tablet to touch up photos and take initial steps into the world of graphic design.

That's not a bad proposition; these are superb, easy-to-use products that feel far more intuitive to use than a mouse, and the price is about right. Once you get over the learning curve of using a tablet, the graphic tablet makes art and design fast and easy.

It's an excellent product that's just affordable enough for everyone to get in on the fun. We loved it.
